What advantages does the sandwich panel have over other materials?
The advantage is the continuous insulation - without thermal bridges through the continuous core of the outer wall elements. No additional connection or screwing of the outer and inner cladding is necessary. This gives you smooth walls that are not interrupted by screws, rivets or nails. The narrow wall elements are particularly suitable for simple and rapid one-man installation.
Are other insulations also possible?
Of course, the insulation values in floors, roofs and walls can be improved, primarily by increasing the insulation and additionally by using higher quality insulation materials.
Do ProContain containers comply with the EnEV 2014?
Our ProEnergy-containers are designed in accordance with the latest "EnEV 2014" energy saving ordinance. The Energy Saving Ordinance "EnEV 2014" is part of the German building law and applies to all residential and non-residential buildings. The structural requirements with regard to efficient energy consumption do not apply to temporary buildings with a service life of up to 2 years. For small buildings up to 50 m² of usable area and service lives of up to 5 years, certain U-values according to EnEV must be adhered to. An energy certificate must be issued for all other buildings. This requires detailed building physics calculations for each building. In addition, the "Renewable Energies Heat Act" (EEWärmeG) must be observed for such buildings.
How's the soundproofing?
Containers of the model series ProBasic achieve a sound insulation value of R'wres=40 dB for the outer wall in the standard design. By increasing the insulation thickness and by using special sound insulation panels, it was possible to prove the total sound insulation value of R'wres=42.5 dB with our containers.
