Several premieres for ProContain GmbH +++ During the site fair SED in Coventry from 22 to 24 May ProContain offered the possibility to visit its fair stand. Simultaneously it was the company’s first visit in England. Potential clients inform themselves about the new product line “ProPlus” being a mobile space solution for offices, schools, kindergartens or accommodations. Other highlights were the presentation of the space saving and cost-efficient “FlatPacks” as well as successfully completed projects like the delivery of 185 accommodation cabins to Glendoe. ProContain, one of over 400 exhibitors, welcomed altogether 23 dealers and 25 end customers at its stand in the site equipment sector. Due to these contacts the company can strengthen now its positioning in the UK market. +++

FlatPacks for North European climate +++ ProContain now offers the first FlatPack versions of portable cabins equipped with statics for 3-storey solutions with an increased snow load capability of 250kg/m². 6 FlatPacks equipped with increased insulation for Scandinavian climate can be easily transported on 1 lorry. FlatPacks are available in 2.44(061) and 3(063) metre wide widths and can be configured as type 10 and type 20. For further information please see our website. +++
ProContain cabins meet Norwegian standard +++ Cabins made to measure: Bespoke size and climatic challenges for Norwegian hospitals ProContain builds first cabins for . 15 cabins designed with country-specific size 3,00 x 8,40m will be delivered to Oslo and erected on site on behalf of our local partner Økern Modul System. 378m² floor space will be erected in two-storeys as an extension to the existing building. The cabins will be used as medical treatment and meeting room for a hospital in Oslo. Due to the local climate conditions all cabins have to fulfil increased snow load requirements of 250kg/m², as well as the highest requirements on the insulation ( k-value for the roof 0,267 W/m²K, floor 0,301W/m²K, exterior walls 0,362 W/m²K) and country-specific electrical and ventilation installations. The biggest challenges for this particular project were the bespoke size of the cabins differing from both ProContain and international standards as well as the need to adapt the new cabins to already existing building. +++
ProContain sets up cabins in Romania +++ ProContain set up first container buildings for the Petrom S.A in Pitesti (Romania) ProContain delivered 32 cabins for the company Petrom S.A on behalf of his Romanian partner ROContain srl. Petrom S.A. belongs to the OMV group and owns 26% of petrol stations in Romania. Both office buildings and changing room facilities were delivered as Flatpacks, whilst the sanitary containers, were delivered pre-assembled from the ProContain factory. The FlatPacks were assembled and erected on site in Pitesti by our local partner ROContain srl who delivered the facilities in December as a turn-key solution to Petrom S.A. requirements +++
3 m² more space for innovative solutions +++ As a unique producer in Europe ProContain offers more space for your ideas and flexible space creation with the announcement of our 063 Series Type 10 & Type 20 3 metre wide cabins now being made available as a FlatPack! The 3 metre wide FlatPack cabins are stackable three times in accommodation use and five times in storage. They will provide a comfortable solution and a true space and logistics miracle given to the possibility to load 8 pieces on 1 lorry. Light and spacious offices, representative exhibition rooms and safe and comfortable schools and kindergartens can be designed thanks to 3m² more floor space. The first buildings have already been delivered and assembled by one of our UK dealers, Ace Portable Accommodation, for a pre-school in Winnerish, Great Britain and photographs of the finished product can be seen in our gallery area (Greenwood Pre-School). +++
ProContain cabins located at Loch Ness +++ ProContain delivered 185 portable accommodation cabins on behalf of his partner Streif Baulogistik GmbH, subsidiary Essen. Cabins for the construction site of the hydropower station in Glendoe have been designed as 6 metre and 10 metre long cabins. Cabin arrangements were configured as single and double room accommodations and equipped with separately prepared sanitary areas consisting of showers, wash basins and toilets. The construction of the hydropower station will be last approximately 3 years. During this period of time ProContain cabins will be marking the landscape at Loch Ness - matching perfectly the beautiful surroundings in terms of colours. The construction of the hydropower station will be finalised at the beginning of 2009. Thanks to this hydropower station more than 250.000 households will be provided with electricity. +++
ProContain in the heart of Vienna +++ On behalf of partner Streif Baulogistik GmbH subsidiary München ProContain delivered portable cabin solutions for the construction of the Skylink terminal at the Vienna Schwechat International Airport 189 cabins for accommodations and offices were delivered in two stages (partially taken from stock of our customer) and erected as 3-storey buildings. ProContain also delivered dozens of hallway cabins as FlatPacks which were assembled and erected in shortest period of time directly on site. The construction project consists of a 720 metre long terminal building, with an overall surface area of 150.000 m². The new terminal building is designed to hold new check-in facilities, shopping and restaurant areas as well as spacious lounges. The new pier will host 51 gates and allow the simultaneous dispatch of 17 planes. +++
